Hey, I'm Keyi. I'm a UX/UI Designer who thinks in systems, currently based in New York City, NY. I am pursuing my
Master's in Information Experience Design at Pratt Institute.
Born and raised in China, I went through a primarily science-based education, but made a pivot to pursue my undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture at Zhejiang University from 2018 to 2022.
My multi-faceted background in both the arts and sciences were pivotal in my journey to becoming a UX designer. I also intuitively make considerations beyond the screens thanks to my experiences designing human environment. As a designer, I find balance between functionality, scalability, aesthetics, and context of usage when creating products and systems.
Outside of work, I enjoy drawing, dancing, visiting museums and exploring landscape both well-designed or embellished. I love trees.
Overall I’m a simple person who always have a desire to learn. There is nothing I have mastered, but plenty I have learned, and I want to keep pushing and learning as I move forward in my career and life.
